BX type ring joint gaskets

The BX type energized ring joint gaskets, manufactured in accordance with API 6A, are designed for use on pressurized systems up to 20,000 psi. Designs are also available for Subsea applications. All BX RTJ gaskets incorporate a pressure balance hole to ensure equalization of pressure which may be trapped in the grooves.

Protection for BX ring joint gaskets during manufacturing, package and shipping process

Loose BX ring joint gaskets are boxed or wrapped during shipping and storage to protect sealing surface from damage or deteriaration for shiping. The sealing surface of TYPE BX must be free of indentations, score marks, tool and chatter marks.
